Thanksgiving is almost here, and most kids have a week off at Thanksgiving and another three weeks off in December/January. Luckily, we have a variety of Thanksgiving and Winter Break camps to choose from in Napa County. I know how hard it is to piece everything together to find coverage for your kids — and something that’s a fun experience for them — so I hope this guide helps. Please make sure to double check dates/times with the organizations directly as many of them are not open for the full week if there is a holiday in the middle like Christmas or New Year’s. If I’ve missed anything, please let me know and I’ll be happy to add it to our camp guide.

Daily chores like feeding the animals, milking the goats, gathering eggs from the chickens and mucking stalls are often kids’ favorite part of the day! Along with all the work comes plenty of time to play and explore, take a hike in Westwood Hills, create arts and crafts, build forts with friends and work on nature-based projects. As the day comes to an end, everyone joins together in the Grove to make music and share stories. Be certain you will have a dirty, tired child at the end of the day, who can’t wait to come back for more!
