While trying to save the Healing Island from dark spirits, a healer with an untested theory and amazing powers accidentally destroys it. Banished for years, he returns to help a lovable young patient and hopes to redeem himself by restoring his home and healing the world.

Goodbye Monster is an excellent children’s film made with adult watchers in mind. It’s a solid film with sweet characters, adorable animation, and the right music to go with it. It’s enjoyable and entertaining without being cloyingly sweet.
