Trash to Treasure: An Arts Workshop to Save the Planet

April 4, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Cameo Cinema Presents Art to Save the Planet!
Join us as we take ‘garbage’ and the many things we dispose of, and creatively turn it into artwork! Let’s explore the art of recycling while learning more about the impact of plastics in our environment.  We will use art to help us look at and educate our community about recycling and our consumption of plastics… can we choose to eliminate using plastic forks? Do we really need a straw with every drink? Are you using your refillable water bottle?

Be a part of the SOLUTION to plastic waste by being a part of our “Trash – to -Treasure” workshop where Nimbus artists and YOU will create 3 whimsical, public art sculptures from materials that would ordinarily be discarded as trash.  These artworks will be installed and displayed on Main Street throughout April as part of the Cameo Cinema’s April “Trash-to-Treasure” event. $5

T2T – 1 All Ages  Saturday, April 4, 1:00 to 4:00 pm REGISTER NOW
