Camp Ursa Major (K – 5th grade): Week long sessions packed with activities focused on teaching 21st Century Skills. Daily hours are 9:00 – 3:30, with extended care available as early as 8:00 and as late as 5:30. Campers are grouped by age and participate in activities specifically designed to support their growth and development.

Young Stewards (6th – 8th grade): Day camp program offering overnight camping trips, team building, and service projects that support growth of key skills like leadership and grit. Participants also enjoy similar activities offered through the K-5 program.

Counselor-in-Training Program (9th & 10th grade): An apprentiship program designed for high school students. Applicants should be responsible members of the community, put the needs of others ahead of their own, have positive relationships with others, and be respectful. Counselors-in-Training commit to a three-week session during our summer season.

Description of Offerings:

Camp Ursa Major is a traditional day camp for children in Kindergarten-8th grade. Located right in the heart of Napa at Kennedy Park, Camp Ursa Major builds happy kids by developing character and community through activities like kayaking, hiking, archery, art, outdoor cooking, creative play, nature studies, and so much more! Our program is designed to support campers of all ages as they learn new skills and create new friendships. Campers are grouped by grade and participate in all of our activities at least once or twice a week. We suggest enrolling in 2 or 3 sessions to experience the full range of activities - 9 week-long sessions June 13 through August 12 – Extended care offered every session.
