We are Napa’s only 501(c)(3) nonprofit martial arts school (EIN 27-4243655) and we teach quality, traditional martial arts: Taekwondo (an Olympic sport), Hapkido (a Judo/Jiu-Jitsu hand-to-hand combat art) and Kumdo (similar to Samurai swordwork).  We are currently introducing Kendo as part of our curriculum.  We also advocate and teach healthy eating habits and life-long lessons such as respect, education, perseverance, and integrity, among others.

We are very pleased to have the #2 Taekwondo competitor in Northern California as a student.  The previous year, we had both the #1 and the #3.

All of our instructors are Kukkiwon-certified black belts.  Hwa Rang Kwan was brought to the United States in 1965 by our instructor, Grandmaster D. K. Shin, who still teaches at his own school in Belmont, and has a 1,000-year tradition in Korea.

While other schools charge $150 to $200 per month, we charge $40 for children and $70 for teens and adults; we have scholarships available for students who cannot afford to pay these rates.

Types of Martial Arts:

We offer traditional martial arts: Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Kumdo. We are now introducing Kendo.
