Easter is just a few weeks away—Sunday, April 16—which means it’s time to start planning for egg hunts, breakfast with the bunny, and photo opportunities with our favorite Easter hare. We still have a few events we’re waiting to confirm, and if we’ve left an Easter egg hunt off the list, please let us know and we’ll be sure to add it.

American Canyon Spring Celebration
Community Park II, American Canyon

Spring is in the air at the American Canyon egg hunt, which includes a chalk art contest, jump houses, games, special dance performances, kite corner, Lady Bug Lane, egg hunts, relay races, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and more.

egg decorating. This art
form, embraced in Russia
 and the Ukraine, has made its
 way to Nimbus Arts! Create beautiful geometric or abstract eggs, learning to use traditional tools and methods. With bees-wax, dye, and special tools in a “batik style” process, each egg becomes a lovely geometric work of art. (This craft is quite technical requiring ample patience and the use of hot wax). Come and learn the timeless art of Ukrainian egg dying.

Build a Bunny Basket
Home Depot, Napa

Home Depot hosts a hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a bunny basket, perfect for keeping Easter treats a short hop away. Once the basket is built, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a workshop apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.

CIA at Copia Egg Hunt

Bring your basket to the CIA at Copia’s first-ever egg hunt! Enjoy coffee and pastries from the stationary “food truck” known as the Box while you watch your little bunnies hop into action.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Farmstead, St. Helena

Fun for the whole family, join Farmstead for its annual egg hunt, face painting, egg decorating, and a return appearance by the Easter Bunny. There will be three age-specific hunts, so that children of all ages can participate. The café and farmers’ market will be open for business. FREE for kids; adults $15 (includes one Bloody Mary)

Napa’s Riverfront invites you to meet and greet the Easter Bunny for a photo opportunity at the “Big Chair.” Bring your own camera.

Breakfast with the Bunny
Yountville Community Park, Yountville
Saturday, April 15 | 10 am (breakfast starts at 9 am)
The Town of Yountville hosts its annual Breakfast with the Bunny with donuts, coffee, juice, and hot chocolate followed by an egg hunt.

Easter Egg Hunt
Kennedy Park, Napa
Saturday, April 15 | 10 am-noon
Napa Active 20-30 hosts a special morning of treasure hunting, face painting, and pictures with the Easter Bunny and other costumed characters. Our local Napa Fire and Police department will make a special trip out to enjoy the day with the children.

Egg Hunt + Brunch

Ad Hoc hosts its annual Easter Egg Hunt in the garden behind the restaurant. Arrive early to enjoy complimentary hot cross buns and coffee from Bouchon Bakery. Registration begins at 9 am and each registered child will receive a complimentary Easter basket. Only provided baskets will be allowed into the hunt area. Only kids six and under.

Easter Egg Hunt and Sunday Brunch Buffet

After Easter worship at 10 am , Calvary Church will host an Easter egg hunt for kids, age 0-11 yrs (split age egg search; 0-5yrs and 6-11yrs, starting approx 11:30am). Bouncy House will be availbale, weather dependent and balloons.
