Happy 4th of July! Celebrate our nation’s independence on Tuesday with fun special events for the whole family, activities and fireworks throughout Napa Valley.

American Canyon
Community Park II American Canyon kicks off its 4th of July celebration with a pancake breakfast, followed by a parade themed “American Canyon is Bold and Bright!” at 10:30 am where awards will be given for “Most Festive/Colorful,” “Loudest/Most Energetic,” “Most Creative/Unique,” and “Largest Group.” The 4th of July Festival featuring activities for the whole family kicks off at 12 noon, with flag raising ceremony, children’s games, food, entertainment, and more! Fireworks are scheduled for approximately 9:30 pm.

Calistoga
Napa County Fairgrounds (and other locations) Anchoring Calistoga’s Independence Day weekend festivities is the annual Napa County Fair, featuring rides, attractions, live music and entertainment, displays and demonstrations, and the Fireworks Sky Concert. Are you ready to get caught in a Tornado? Want to feel topsy-turvy with Vertigo? Or drop out of the sky on the Drop Zone? Classic carnival rides and not-so-classic rides & attractions will be in operation from noon to 11 pm. For kids 12 and under, Kid Kountry from noon to 8 pm is filed with fun, hands-on agricultural learning stations, entertainment, and ten activity stations such as hula-hoops, ring toss, golf, and more. Festivities on the 4th of July begin with a parade down Lincoln Avenue at 11 am and a fireworks sky concert at approximately 9:30 pm.

Napa
Veterans’ Memorial Park and Oxbow Commons The City of Napa’s festival begins at 10 am with a parade, organized by the Napa Sunrise Rotary Club, starting at Second and School Streets. New this year is a pre-show at 9 am – there will be a soccer clinic at the Judges Viewing Stand on the corner of 3rd and Coombs. This year’s parade theme is “Honoring America’s Future Leaders” and the Napa Boys & Girls Club will serve as the Grand Marshall. Following the parade is the city-sponsored festival starting at noon at Oxbow Commons. The festival includes a Kids Zone from 1:30 to 7 pm with games, inflatables and family-friendly activities. The day continues with live music performances at Oxbow Commons and Veteran’s Park starting at 12:30 pm and continuing throughout the day until fireworks at 9:30 pm. Also, on the 3rd of July, Silverado Resort & Spa hosts its annual fireworks. You can watch from their golf course or find spot close by to see the show.

St. Helena
Crane Park St. Helena hosts its 3rd annual fireworks show at Crane Park at 9 pm. Bring a blanket and a picnic, and enjoy!

Yountville
Veteran’s Home A full day of entertainment is scheduled at the Veterans Home of California starting at noon. The Yountville Community Pool will be open to the public starting at noon, and the Kid Zone, from noon to 6 pm, will feature a waterslide, water balloons, baseball challenge and more. Entertainment begins at 1 pm with live music and a community parade from 6 to 6:15 pm followed by live music by the Rumors Dance Band from 7 to 9 pm The festivities conclude with a fireworks show when it gets dark.
