Using wood, wire, plaster, and an assortment of wonderful mixed media exporations, your buccaneers will create their own miniature Tropical Islands and inhabit them with their own cast of characters. We’ll construct ceramic treasure chests, wooden ships, and of course, there will be a full horizon of painting & drawing. As we read chapters from Stevenson’s adventure, our crew will be introduced to colorful characters such as; Long John Silver, Black Dog, and Billy Bones with a special sojourn to the RLS Museum! All mates aboard our camp will create treasure map board games and other precious artist booty as we sail the high seas of creativity, ending of course…in a high seas treasure hunt!
